Love conquers all… including natural disasters and alien invasions in this contemporary fiction collection.

I BOUGHT THIS BOOK BECAUSE IT HAD A SHORT STORY BY LINNEA SINCLAIR, ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS. UNFORTUNATELY SHE HASN'T WRITTEN ANY NEW BOOKS LATELY SO I WAS HUNGRY FOR ONE OF HER STORIES.
I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH HER SHORT STORY AND ENJOYED THE OTHER STORIES AS WELL.
THIS WAS A VERY ENJOYABLE BOOK WITH VERY GOOD AUTHORS AND FIRST RATE STORIES. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR AVID SCI FI FANS.

Jezebel said . . . . . . that he would begin to forget from the moment he got back on board. That his past and present memories couldn’t coexist. Galactic Date 874-987. What was it? Winnie was staring at him. “You okay? Maybe you should be in sick bay.” “No. I’m fine. It’s just that—” Think! Think! What’s today? Or more importantly, what

I think there’s hope for you yet.” There’s hope for you yet, Mac. A woman’s voice, sultry, yet now not much more than a fading whisper. He lowered his face. “I’d like to try that kiss again, if you don’t mind,

in her mind. Is there anyone out there who can answer back? I hear everyone else’s mind. Can’t anyone hear mine? I can, Saire replied, her mental voice tiny, hopeful, shaking. Oh. Oh thank God, he cried in relief. Because I am going mad— So am I, Saire confessed. About to kill myself— So am I— Don’t. They said it in each other’s minds at once. I won’t die now that I know you’re there, he promised. Saire stepped off the ledge and back into the hospital. A guard tried to take her arm.

sneered, tugging on my jacket, “you mean ‘being kidnapped’, I assure you I am not taking it well at all.” He risked a glance at me. “You are bigger than I am and I don’t have a gun,” I clarified. Amusement sparked in his eyes a moment. “You need a gun to take me out?” My smile in response felt tight. “No, Commander, but a gun would make a satisfying mess, and I’d get to hear you scream when I shot you in the kneecaps.” He grinned. My breath caught. What was he playing at? Weren’t

face, banishing the shadows. “I got the Murphy luck, Annie. Too late to stay out of trouble, too late the day I was born. But I’m here.” He knew as well as she did that a night could last forever, that anything could happen between this moment they shared, and daybreak. Reunions are funny, time-bending things. After only a few minutes more, Billy and Anika had recovered from their emotion. Anika took Billy into the jungle to show him her artistry. She beamed her arc-light torch skyward and
